Test Drive a Habit
One of my goals for 2008 the year of intentionality is to test drive a different habit each month. I got the idea from an article written by Steve Pavlina, 30 Days to Success.
By giving myself a timeframe of a month, I figure I can put up with quite a bit if I know it will be over in a month. At the end of the month I’ll evaluate whether the habit is worthwhile to keep daily, occasionally, or there is no way I’m ever going to do that again!
Challenging myself to accomplish my goal each day will help me be more intentional regarding going through the day. Without a daily objective I slip through days/weeks which is what I want to avoid. I want to live life, not just skate through it. As a side bonus, I may pick up some positive habits along the way.
I currently have 9 ideas for habits to test out. First up on my list is reading the Bible every day. Wish me luck and if you have any ideas for habits that I should try, please let me know.
Below are my attempted Test Drive a Habit challenges.
